Veterinary Assistant

Veterinary Assistant position can be an entry level position. We do accept applications for this position without the applicant having experience in the veterinary field.
This job entails cleaning and keeping our hospital kennel and offices clean. The employee will be working with the hospitalized animals and helping the doctors and technicians with them.
We would suggest the applicant have no physical restrictions, be able to pick up 40#, be energetic, like animals and like to work hard.
We have had several veterinary assistants go on to college and veterinary school graduating as Veterinarians. In addition, veterinary assistants may take on line training to further themselves in the field of veterinary medicine. One may get a degree on line in veterinary asssistant or even veterinary technology.

Veterinary Technician

Veterinary Technician
This member of our health team needs extensive vet. tech. school training or several years of on the job training at a veterinary hospital.
Technicians should be able to perform routine laboratory work, take and develop radiographs, assist in surgery, perform routine dental cleanings, perform IV catheterization, administer IV fluids, and instruct veterinary assistants.
The starting salary is dependant on experience and technical degree.

Associate Veterinarian

Associate Veterinarian needed.
Florida license required.
This is a full time position. This will include out patient care, office calls, routine surgery, and some management skills.
